Our Mission

Together, we ensure no Marist boy is left behind.

Our Association exists to foster connection and camaraderie among alumni, while our primary purpose is supporting current students at Marist College Eastwood — particularly those facing adversity or disadvantage. Through our efforts, and with your support, we aim to ensure that every student has access to a rich and fulfilling education, regardless of their financial circumstances.

In line with our Trust Deed, the Association is committed to providing financial assistance to students in need, helping them take full advantage of the opportunities the College offers. True to the Marist spirit, we believe in standing together as a community — supporting one another, not just ourselves.

Trust Deed

Our formal purpose

The Trustees shall ensure that the public is invited to contribute to the Trust Fund. The Trustees shall have power to disburse funds from the Trust Fund in their absolute discretion solely to provide scholarships, bursaries or benefits to assist, firstly, any financially necessitous students and prospective students of the School recommended by the Principal to the Trustees for the purpose of promoting the recipient's education at Marist College Eastwood and/or, secondly, any students as having the ability to embark on a career in the arts, engineering, education, law, history or science or as having entrepreneurial flair (whether such assistance is provided while the student is at the School or while the student is undertaking an approved tertiary course in Australia including any overseas study as a component of such a course) provided those students are Australian citizens or permanent residents within the meaning of the Australian Citizenship Act 2007.

What We Do

Support in many forms

The Association provides financial assistance to families in a wide variety of ways, ensuring all students have the opportunity to thrive. This includes help with uniform purchases, IT equipment, and school fees — making sure students have the essentials they need to fully engage in their education.

We fund extracurricular opportunities such as excursions, immersions, competition entries, and other enriching experiences that form part of the holistic education offered at the College. We also respond directly to urgent need — for example, supporting families who have faced sudden hardship so their boys can continue their Marist education at Eastwood.

Scholarships & Bursaries

Named scholarships for engineering and open fields, plus direct bursary support for families in need.

After-School Tutoring

A tutoring program funded by the Association, open to all students regardless of background.

Mentoring & Careers

Old Boys mentor Year 11 students and offer work experience to Year 10s. We participate in the College's annual Careers Night.
